How could you defy what you’ve been told, the words of your mother, saying to you: “brush your teeth, honey” every night explaining to you that it’s the only way to preserve your teeth white and clean? In this tutorial I’ll reveal to you the secret of how to whiten teeth without a toothbrush and for free!

If you are like me and you eat a lot of bubble gum, although it has the aspartame toxin, drink a lot of fuzzy drinks, eat and forget to brush your teeth but you want white to be the colour of your teeth, and obtain it easily as well, then you have to learn my secret!

Simple ways of whitening teeth

Well an easy way to whiten teeth is to brush your teeth! Not only with water and a toothbrush but with toothpaste as well! (Whoa, I didn’t know that!) You won’t notice much difference quickly that’s for sure. And we’re lazy aren’t we? We want a quicker method!

Another way is to use some of those expensive whitening systems which do whiten your teeth but they destroy them as well.

Furthermore, you can always visit the dentist and make a full dental implant which would probably cost you a house and a car, but that’s all right, if you are a Hollywood star!

So, none of these methods work for us, so what’s this secret weapon anyway?!

This weapon my friend is Photoshop!

Step 1

Open up Photoshop and import the photo of your yellow teeth! If you want, my yellow teeth available for you to download in the source files! Duplicate the current layer (Layer>Duplicate Layer) and take the Elliptical Marquee Tool with a feather of 50px and draw an ellipse around the teeth.

Step 2

Go to image>adjustments>selective color and select the yellow colour. Reduce the yellow colour slider by 100 (drag to the left) and press “ok”.

Step 3

Take the Dodge tool and ensuring that you have “range: highlights” selected, paint over the teeth whitening them out even more.

Step 4

Now take the Sponge tool and ensuring that you have “mode: desaturate” selected, with a small brush paint some areas that remained a bit yellowish.

At this step you are pretty much done with the whitening but if you want you can make some final touches!

Go to Curves (Image>Adjustments>Curves) and increase the RGB channel like is shown in the image.

You then duplicate that layer and then making sure that you have white set as your background colour (what?! Just press key “d”) go to diffuse glow (Filter>Distort>Diffuse Glow) and enter 0, 3, 9.

Then you reduce the opacity of that layer (maybe even add a layer mask if you want) and sharpen (Filter>Sharpen>Sharpen) your final image!

This is the best, easiest, and free way to whiten teeth without the need of a toothbrush or expensive equipment!
